Mumbai, May 13 (IANS): The presence of numerous notable Marathi film and television stars added a touch of glamour and excitement to the voting process for 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra. Celebrities such as Mrunal Kulkarni, Neha Mahajan, and Sonali Kulkarni, among others, were spotted at various polling booths, accompanied by their families, encouraging citizens to fulfill their civic duty by casting their votes.
These stars, dressed in casual attire, patiently waited in lines at polling stations in Pune and other locations, participated in the voting process, and proudly displayed their inked fingers upon completion. Some celebrities like Sonali Kulkarni and the Bhave couple took the opportunity to engage with the media, urging the public to actively participate in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
The voting process proceeded smoothly in the 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in places like Shirdi, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, and Pune. The final phase of the Lok Sabha elections is slated to take place in 13 constituencies in Maharashtra on May 20, with the crucial vote counting scheduled for June 4.
