Latifa bint Mohammed, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Member of the Executive Council, recently visited a pavilion at the 33rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair that showcased publications by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This pavilion featured 13 notable works by Mohammed bin Rashid covering a wide array of topics such as management, excellence, leadership, and more.
During her visit, Latifa bint Mohammed toured the pavilion and engaged with the organizers to learn about the significant turnout of visitors to the event. She emphasized the crucial role of culture and knowledge in driving progress and civilization, highlighting the importance of investing in knowledge for positive change and a better future. She also commended the UAE’s leadership for prioritizing culture and promoting knowledge through national strategies and events like book fairs.

During her visit, Latifa interacted with students at the children’s book section, reading aloud from the book ‚Two Great Leaders‘ that chronicles the lives and legacies of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. This book aims to honor and preserve the memories of these esteemed leaders, whose contributions continue to resonate within the UAE.
The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, featured 1,350 publishers from 90 countries, including 140 newcomers and 375 local exhibitors. This edition of the book fair was held under the theme ‚Where World Tales Unfold,‘ with Egypt serving as the Guest of Honour and the late Naguib Mahfouz as the ‚Personality of Focus.‘ The pavilion dedicated to Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s publications showcased 13 influential works that have left a significant mark on the cultural landscape of the region, covering a diverse range of subjects and insights derived from the author’s personal experiences.
