In Stolzenau, Polizei is on high alert after four young adults decided to explore an abandoned hospital late Wednesday night, February 26, 2025. At approximately 11:30 PM, police received a tip-off about trespassers at the vacant facility on Holzhäuser Weg. When law enforcement arrived, they discovered three individuals—aged 21, 22, and 23—from Petershagen, alongside a 20-year-old from Hameln, who had entered through an open window.

The group claimed they were merely seeking to investigate the „Lost Place“ they discovered online. However, authorities were quick to remind the public of the severe risks involved in entering such derelict buildings, which can be structurally unsafe. Trespassing not only poses significant dangers but is also punishable under law, potentially resulting in imprisonment of up to one year or hefty fines.
