Leguano zieht um: Neue Filiale am Teichgraben in Jena eröffnet bald

In Jena, Thüringen, a change is on the horizon as a bakery has closed, leading to vacant business premises. According to the „Ostthüringer Zeitung“ (OZ), the company „Backwerk“ has pulled out of the city, leaving commercial spaces available on Teichgraben. Despite initial hopes for a prompt successor, the process took longer than expected, resulting in the premises being empty since the beginning of 2023.

However, the situation is about to change, as a successor has been identified, and it is a familiar face in Jena. The barefoot shoe provider „Leguano“ intends to establish itself at Teichgraben, already operating a branch in the city. The company’s decision to relocate within Jena has been driven by a desire to better serve customers and expand its reach, as reported by OZ.

The company has been selling its unique shoes at Carl-Zeiss-Platz but aims to reorient itself in the Light City. The move is seen as a strategic decision to enhance customer service and broaden its market presence. The new location at Teichgraben is set to open its doors on Saturday, May 18, offering more details on the reopening can be found in the pages of the „Ostthüringer Zeitung.“
