Neueröffnung am Teichgraben: Leguano zieht in alte Backshop-Räume

In Jena, Thüringen, a significant change is on the horizon as a bakery had to close its doors, leaving behind vacant commercial spaces. The „Ostthüringer Zeitung“ (OZ) reported that the company „Backwerk“ has withdrawn from the city, resulting in empty premises along Teichgraben. Despite initial plans for a swift replacement, the process took longer than anticipated, with the spaces reportedly vacant since the beginning of 2023.

However, a resolution is in sight as a successor has been identified, and it is no stranger to Jena. The barefoot shoe provider, „Leguano,“ is set to establish its presence at Teichgraben, having already operated a store in Jena. The company’s decision to relocate within the city signifies a strategic move, as previously, their unique shoes were sold at Carl-Zeiss-Platz. The transition to the new location aims to enhance customer service and expand their market reach, as per the OZ report.

The upcoming relocation of Leguano to the new site is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, marking the official opening of their branch. For further details on the grand opening, interested individuals are encouraged to refer to the coverage by the „Ostthüringer Zeitung.“ This development signifies a positive transformation for the vacant commercial spaces in Jena and reinforces the city’s dynamic business environment.
