Jena im Wandel: Leguano eröffnet neue Filiale am Teichgraben

Frischer Wind in Jena: Welcher Bekannter übernimmt den leerstehenden Laden?

In Jena, Thuringia, a significant change is on the horizon following the closure of a bakery. The „Ostthüringer Zeitung“ (OZ) reports that the vacant commercial space will soon be occupied by a familiar face. The bakery named „Backwerk“ has bid farewell to the city, leaving commercial space available at Teichgraben. Although a successor was expected promptly, the process lingered on, leaving the premises empty since the beginning of 2023.

However, the situation is about to change as a successor has been identified, one that is no stranger to Jena. The provider of barefoot shoes, „Leguano,“ will establish itself at Teichgraben. The company already operates a branch in Jena, making the move a familiar one. According to OZ, the decision to relocate within the city was made to better serve customers and expand their reach.

The „Ostthüringer Zeitung“ reports that the official opening of the new location is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th. This move marks a new chapter for Leguano in Jena, as they transition from their previous location at Carl-Zeiss-Platz to the promising possibilities of Teichgraben.

With the city witnessing the filling of vacant spaces with new businesses, the arrival of Leguano at Teichgraben signifies a positive development for the local commercial landscape. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting transformation from the „Ostthüringer Zeitung.“
