Der CrowdNewsroom ist ein Projekt, das es Menschen ermöglicht, sich Gehör zu verschaffen und das wichtige Thema der Barrierefreiheit in den Fokus zu rücken. Durch die Teilnahme am CrowdNewsroom sollen Betroffene und Verantwortliche zusammengebracht werden. Das Projekt läuft in verschiedenen Städten, darunter Dessau, Halberstadt und Tangermünde. In diesen Städten finden Veranstaltungen statt, um das Projekt und den CrowdNewsroom bekannt zu machen.
Die mobilen Lokalredaktionen des CrowdNewsrooms befinden sich in Dessau, Halberstadt und Tangermünde. In diesen Lokalredaktionen sind Journalisten von MDR SACHSEN-ANHALT und CORRECTIV vor Ort, um Fragen zum Projekt zu beantworten und über alltägliche Hindernisse in der Umgebung zu sprechen. Die Lokalredaktionen sind bestrebt, barrierearm zu sein, wobei in einigen Fällen Einschränkungen bestehen.
In Halberstadt können Interessierte an verschiedenen Veranstaltungen teilnehmen, die auf Barrierefreiheit ausgerichtet sind. Dazu gehören ein inklusives Sportevent, ein Spaziergang mit dem Rolli-Club und ein kreativer Workshop. Während die Veranstalter ihr Bestes tun, um die Events barrierearm zu gestalten, können nicht alle Bedürfnisse berücksichtigt werden. Bei Fragen oder dem Bedarf nach besonderer Unterstützung können sich Teilnehmende an events@correctiv.org wenden.
Ein Publikumsdialog in Tangermünde am 27.05. bietet die Gelegenheit, Ergebnisse des Projektes zu präsentieren und Menschen zu Wort kommen zu lassen, die sich am CrowdNewsroom beteiligt haben. Nähere Informationen zu den Veranstaltungen und Lokalredaktionen sind auf MDR.de zu finden.
