In Rastede, an accident occurred on Wednesday morning around 7:40 AM at the intersection of Oldenburger Straße and Raiffeisenstraße. A large truck was traveling in the direction of Wahnbek when the driver made a right turn onto Raiffeisenstraße. Unfortunately, during the turn, the trailer swung out to the left, colliding with a silver Citroën that was waiting to turn left onto Kleibroker Straße. The 67-year-old driver of the Citroën, a resident of Butjadingen, reported that the truck driver appeared unaware of the incident and left the scene heading towards Raiffeisenstraße.

The damage to the Citroën is estimated at around 3,500 euros. Authorities are urging any witnesses to the accident to contact the Rastede police at 04402/9165215.
