Although Christian Hiemeyer, Dietmar Schrägle, and Christoph Wildemann put up a fight, they eventually succumbed to defeat in the match tie-break. The doubles matches were canceled due to rain, leading to a disappointing 0-9 loss for the Wildpoldsried squad.

The 1st men’s team faced off against TC Kempten 2 in the Südliga 3 derby, with Dietmar Schrägle and Michael Munz scoring points for the hosts. Despite a strong effort, the team fell short with a final score of 3-6, as the guests dominated the doubles matches. Meanwhile, the 2nd men’s team had a similar fate against TC Kempten 3 in the Südliga 4, suffering an 8-1 defeat with only Lukas Wildemann managing to secure a point for the home team.

In a bright spot for SSV Wildpoldsried, the women’s team delivered an outstanding performance in the Südliga 5 match against ESV Immenstadt 2. Despite missing their top player Vanessa Kittel, the team showcased their strength with Tina Wiedemann, Valentina Stauffer, Emma Schrägle, and Monika Hartmann securing an impressive 6-0 victory. The duo of Wiedemann/Stauffer clinched a quick win, while E. Schrägle/Hartmann fought hard in the match tie-break to seal the deal.
