Müller appears keen on seizing the opportunity to challenge for the number one goalkeeper position in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg. Despite being under contract with Schalke until 2025, reports indicate a sense of dissatisfaction stemming from the perceived lack of appreciation shown by the club’s management. The recent contract offer of around 400,000 euros per season, slightly higher than his current earnings, was viewed as inadequate given his contributions to the team.
