Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Rafah in the Gaza Strip today. The Prime Minister received a comprehensive briefing from the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi, regarding the logistic, maintenance, and medical activities that have been operating day and night for the past nine months to support the fighting forces. In addition, he received a comprehensive operational briefing from the Commander of Division 162, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, on the activities of the division in and around Rafah, both underground and above ground.

Subsequently, Prime Minister Netanyahu ascended to an observation point on the Philadelphi Axis, where he received a briefing on the combat area.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Netanyahu had a conversation with the Givati fighters and the personnel of the combat support system. He listened to their activities in the sector and answered their questions.
