In Woltmershausen, a massive fire engulfed a 50 by 20-meter agricultural building on the evening of October 28th, 2024. Firefighters from Bremen battled the blaze throughout the night, with efforts continuing into the following morning. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. The fire erupted around 7:30 PM, and when the first units arrived at the Stromer Straße site, the structure was already fully ablaze.

Responding swiftly, firefighters launched an aggressive attack on the flames from multiple angles, successfully preventing the fire’s spread to nearby structures. By 9 PM, the incident commander announced that the fire was under control. Due to significant smoke production, authorities issued a warning to residents in the vicinity; however, air quality measurements in surrounding areas showed no concerning levels. Multiple firefighting units, including both professional and volunteer services, were deployed to manage the incident effectively.
